Father,
Today I pray the prayer no mother wants to have to pray for their children. Lord, please wreck our son for your glory.
It does no good to ask that you keep him safe and to protect him, because then he’ll never learn how to fight and persevere through hard times. You know what’s best for him. You know the events that have to happen in order for him to learn and understand your ways.
Lord, if rather he learn these lessons now, than to waste an entire lifetime of peace.
Teach him your ways Lord, as painful as that may be. All of this I pray, because…
