Father,
Accidently called him yesterday. Well, not me but the lady at Verizon while she was looking at my phone. She hung up really quick and apologized. She said he might try calling me back.
He didn’t.
I knew he wouldn’t.
Several times I’ve tried to reach out to him. Lord, I wish we were safe for him. I wish he felt comfortable with us. Lord, if patience and waiting is what he needs from us, we will respect his boundary, but please remind him how much we care and this silence is not us giving up on him.
We love him.
