Dear Heavenly Father,
Today I heard I should, back off, stick to my standards, but keep the door open.
Lord, help me to live this. Help me to remain under your law, but exercise your grace. I want to live by your ways. I want my son to live by your ways too.
Help us learn what that looks like. Everyday, guide us. Let us hear you. Let us see you.
Let him feel he can come to me with anything. At the same time, help me live for you and not be easily persuaded by him.
He is my heart, but it is you who has given him to me. Without you, we both have nothing.
The days seem long, but I know they are but just a breath in terms of our eternity. Please fill them with wisdom and learned lessons. May they be a reflection of your glory.
“Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. – Matthew 7:7
Lord, I stand here not knocking, but banging; banging on your door, looking to you, and no one else.
Please be standing there on the other side. Please be standing there, waiting for us!
