Dear Heavenly Father,
Heal my son. He carries around inside of him, hurts he doesn’t want to share. He has built up a wall.
It is keeping the bad out, but it’s keeping the good out too. It’s holding his love hostage.
I can’t reach him, Lord. But you can. If there is something I can do, if there is something I can say, please guide me.
Please help him forgive me for not being safe. For not being someone he could come to. For not being strong enough when he needed me.
Please give him a second chance to feel again. Please help him open up.
I hate feeling so helpless. I hate feeling so responsible. Lord, give me something to do to make this right.
Heal is both.
