Dear Heavenly Father,
Tonight, I ask you to give him strength. Help him to resist the the temptation to do what he knows is wrong.
Help him be strong enough to do what is right, even though, no, especially when it is hard to do.
May he find his rest in you and find that your yoke is light.
Give him courage, when he’s faced with something he knows he needs to fight. And wisdom to know when to walk away.
Give him the desires of his heart and may they align with yours.
Lord, whatever he feels he needs to prove, please help him come to terms with with it.
May the battle that rages within his head, be one he doesn’t have to fight alone.
Cover him in your glory. Bring peace to his soul.
