Wonderful Counselor,
You are it, my Lord. You are the one he must hear from. Speak to him. Let him know, you have been with him from day one.
You keep track of all my sorrows. You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book. – Psalm 56:8
Not only do you know of all of his hurts, you were there with him. His tears were your tears.
Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. – 1 Peter 5 :7
He holds within him secrets he’s to afraid to let go of. Please release him of this burden.
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. – Proverbs 12:15
May he listen to you. If anyone could get into the mind of a young adult, it is you. Just speak to him. Guide him. Show him your ways.
May he be open to hear you and to take your lead.
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you. – Psalm 32:8
He needs you, Lord. Counsel him, convict him, give him wisdom, help him see his significance, let him know that he is loved and keep him safe.
