Heavenly Father,
Tonight I ask you to bless my son with wisdom.
I ask that you give him an intelligent heart that
…acquires knowledge, and the ear of the wise seeks knowledge. – Proverbs 8:15
You say all we need to do is to ask and you will give, but my son may not ask, Lord. Please have mercy and give it to him anyway.
Bring people into his life to help him make wise decisions he is having trouble making. Bring him good men, whom he can trust.
May his eyes be open to the consequences of his behavior. Young adults often struggle with seeing past today. He is one of them. So I’m asking you to show him grace. He doesn’t deserve it. Please give it to him anyway.
Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future. – Proverbs 19:20
Lord, give him wisdom, help him see his significance, let him know that he is loved and keep him safe.
