Lord, thank you for the talk we had. Thank you for the words and wisdom you give me. I have to believe you are working in him as well.
Tonight I ask that you show him his significance. He is carrying around lies that not only hold him captive, but torture him, as well.
He is living with self-hatred.
Please free him from his demons.
Please lead him to someone who can help.
And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns. – Philippians 1:6
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. – Jeremiah 29:11
Lord, I trust you will continue your work within him, because of the great plans you have for his future.
Let him see his value. Let him know how precious he is.
What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine on the mountains and go in search of the one that went astray? – Matthew 18:12
He is that important. Lord, let him know you search for him.
Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? And not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not, therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. – Matthew 10:29-31
As much as I love him, I know you love him more. Lord, please do for him, that which I can’t.
Help him see his significance, know that he is loved and keep him safe.
