Today is the Day

Dear Heavenly Father,

Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalm 118:24 I love this verse. It just gives thanks to You for everything, both good and bad. I’m trying to remember You know all. You have a plan.

YOU have a plan for Mike and I. I ask for your Will be done and the strength to accept it.

I know your plans are good. For I know the plans I have for you. Plans that are good and will not harm you. Plans for a hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11

Therefore Lord, I give my life to You. For Your plans are good. I don’t want to get through life reacting. I want to respond to Your perfect Will.

I pray for my husband. I know You have placed him above me. I am under his authority, which is under Yours. Guide him, Lord. Teach him Your ways. Make him into the Godly man You designed him to be. His time is coming. Please help me silence my mouth and thoughts and let him mature in you. I trust him and I trust You.

Please continue to teach me submission. Whether it is unto You or unto him. Turn me into the woman You designed me to be.

I need to watch over my thoughts, and keep them pure. May I never gossip but breath life into those around me with my words. May they never be used for destruction, but to build up. Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing. – 1 Thessalonians. 5:11

I give thanks in all things. Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Dear brothers and sisters, honor those who are your leaders in the Lord’s work. They work hard among you and give you spiritual guidance. Show them great respect because of their work. And live peaceful with each other. 1 Thessalonians 5:12-13.

Never stop praying. 1 Thessalonians 5:17
